Since each character has different equipment during leveling, its important to not put too many points into some of the skills so we can put them elsewhere, so if you get an item that takes a soft cap skill to 14/12 (where it says 12 is the soft cap) you can take 2 points out of the skill and put them elsewhere. I farmed all the Perdition set on the Twin Falls totem whle i was lvl 40~49 and the monsters where in close range of that, but now that i'm 6X i can't drop a single item from the Absolution set while farming the 3 totem from Necropolis (2 in the city itself and 1 in the way to the last base game boss).
